PROCEDURES
PeopleHelpers Ltd. Was formed to help people in Transition. Transitions can include: Relocation, Moving, Divorce, Family Deaths and Aging aspects. We are not health care workers. We are not Social Workers. We instead work as consultants to make stressful times easier.
While every client has different needs and abilities, there are two main categories; Relocation and In Home Transitions.
Relocations: The best two word description of what we do is “Move Managers”. We do not do the physical move, but instead put all the different issues together for the client.
We setup an appointment to meet with the client in their home to find out their wishes and needs. Using a company developed checklist we go over the many items that we can provide. This meeting will take 30 min to 2 hours. At this
“no obligation” meeting we make a room list and very simple inventory. Pictures may be taken.
At the office we put together an estimate of our time involvement and an estimate of the Subcontractors costs. The proposal has two categories;
(a) PeopleHelpers Ltd. hourly work
(b) Subcontract.
These estimates are based upon information received from the Client and are done to the best of our ability, however they are just that; ESTIMATES.
The estimates are put into a proposal and presented to the Client during a second meeting. If the Clients OK the proposal, a Contract for Consultant services is prepared and signed. A deposit is required. We provide Management of the work and the Client pays the Subcontractors directly.
